Knowledge is Memory
Six performers escorted blindfolded volunteers through Union Square Park and Washington Square Park asking them questions concerning memory. The questions ranged from the participants first memories of a parent, to what they had for dinner four nights before, and eventually participants were asked to define the relationship between memory and knowledge. The questions guided participants to recognize that their confidence and knowledge is not a static or stable position, that knowledge is mutable, breakable, an echo of comprehension.
